with this piece, i wanted to use the techniques and materials that we use for film.
i was feeling that the attention to detail we labor over for effects work were more often than not being wasted in bad films or not being seen properly, if at all.
i took the advice of some co-workers and cast the sculpture in a water clear urethane which was intrinsically colored.
