this is a gallery of computer generated 3d images of animations created through screaming lobster, many of which have been used extensively by Tool to project onto a screen during their live shows.
the idea behind these animations is that they endlessly loop. they have no beginning and no end. i thought there was a very spiritual notion to that.
the primary software tools used were lightwave 3d, adobe photoshop and adobe after effects.
a dvd collection is in the works. it will be finished in 2004
i like the idea of being able to display these on a t.v. screen, using your set as a picture frame. if i had the dough, i would love to sell each piece as an individual moving painting with it's own flat screen you could hang on your wall.
